Ahna Center was created with a vision to reshape the idea of pregnancy, labor, and beyond. Bringing a child earth side can be a powerful experience, and starts with equipped with knowledge and tools to understand and trust this divine process.

Meet the Founders(Sisters)

Shareena (pictured left), is a mom and global marketer who quickly found out once pregnant how much she didn’t know about the birth process. Inspired by the journey to midwifery her sister Alena was on the amount of knowledge she had access to, she felt compelled to partner in building a relieve center with tools for women to learn how empowering the birth process can be with the right access and information.


Alena(pictured right), is a mom of five, midwife, and former doula who received her calling to help transition babies earthside. A moon lover and empath, she is divinely in tune with sacred and empowering process of birth. She is known for telling her clients to, “Stay Center and Surrender,” which is a mantra she lives by both in the birthing space and in her everyday life.

Birth Work is in our Blood

Shareena and Alena have a lineage of this practice, as their great grandmother Lydia Stark(pictured above) was the local midwife of her town in Haiti.
